CEBU CITY — Agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in Central Visayas arrested four persons and seized at least P1 million worth of unauthorized COVID-19 rapid antigen test kits.
NBI Cebu District Office agent-in-charge Arnel Pura said they conducted separate entrapment operations in the cities of Cebu and Mandaue on January 25 and 26.
Based on their investigation, Pura said the four suspects were not authorized to sell antigen test kits and had no license from the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA).
A box of COVID-19 antigen test kits was sold at PP5,000.
