ORMOC CITY — A 7-year-old boy died after he was bitten by a poisonous snake in Barangay Magbangon, Cabucgayan town, Biliran on Thursday evening.

Jhon Maark Mollejon was on his way home from his grandmother’s house when a snake bit him on the right foot, said Lt. Teofilo Gervacio III, chief of the Cabucgayan Police Station.

When the boy arrived home, he told his mother Era Nogas that a snake bit him. The boy was told to wash his right foot to clean the wound.
