COVID-19 cases in Pampanga’s capital down by 346 in 4 days

Pampanga mapMABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––The active COVID-19 cases in the City of San Fernando decreased by 346 in the past four days, the city government disclosed on Thursday, Jan. 27.

In its latest update, the city government said 1,434 active cases were registered on Thursday from 1,780 on Jan. 23, the highest this year.

The city logged 89 new cases, 215 recoveries, and zero deaths on Thursday. A day earlier, it recorded 91 new cases, 221 recoveries, and no deaths.

Since the pandemic started in 2020, the capital city of Pampanga has registered 13,929 COVID-19 cases. Of the number, 12,162 had recovered while 333 had died.
