MANILA, Philippines — Presidential candidate  Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s scheduled radio interview on Friday was postponed due to communication issues.

According to radio station DZBB, Rey Briones, head of Marcos Jr.’s communications group, informed them of the difficulty to contact the presidential aspirant from his location in Davao.

Bongbong Marcos,” DZBB said in a statement.

(We will not be able to interview former senator Bongbong Marcos this morning on ‘Ikaw Na Ba: The Presidential Interview’.)

(Based on the information relayed to us by Mr. Rey Briones, head of Marcos’ communications group, there are difficulties in contacting the former senator from his current location in Davao.)

Nonetheless, DZBB said Marcos Jr. is willing to schedule an interview on February 2.

“Sa February 2 ay naka-schedule sa ‘Ikaw Na Ba’ si Manila Mayor Isko Moreno,” DZBB said.

(Manila mayor Isko Moreno is scheduled for ‘Ikaw Na Ba’ on February 2.)

(Nonetheless, we are still in coordination with Sen. Bongbong Marcos’ camp so we can book a new schedule for his interview on ‘Ikaw Na Ba’.)
