Alert level 3 up in 6 more provinces

‘Moderate’ corruption risk in PH's defense institutions due to admin's ‘zero tolerance' for corruption

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) approved on Thursday the heightening of alert level in six provinces to level 3.

The six provinces are Palawan, Camiguin, Davao Occidental, Dinagat Islands, Tawi-Tawi and Sulu, Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles, who is also IATF cochair, said in a statement.

The new alert level will take effect on Jan. 28 until Feb. 15.

The IATF is expected to announce in the coming days changes for Metro Manila and other areas whose current alert levels will be ending on Jan. 31. — JEROME ANING
