BACOLOD CITY — The new Talisay City Hall in Negros Occidental is temporarily closed to the public from January 27 to 28, 2022
Mayor Neil Lizares said there is a need to disinfect the building after a lawyer of the City Legal Office tested positive for COVID-19 while a lot of city government employees have colds.
Normal business operations will resume on January 31.
Talisay City had 176 active COVID-19 cases as of Wednesday, January 26.
The city has had 2,771 COVID-19 cases and 96 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
