Ex-drug convict gunned down in Batangas
LUCENA CITY––An unidentified gunman shot and killed Wednesday a former drug convict in Talisay town, Batangas province.
The Calabarzon police, in a report, identified the fatality as Richard Legaspi, who was traveling aboard his motorcycle when an assailant repeatedly shot him around 9:30 p.m. in Barangay Aya.
Investigators said the gunman fled on foot after the shooting and left his target dead.

The police were conducting further investigation to identify the killer.
The report said the victim was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation on June 24, 2016.
