16 fugitives nabbed in Central Luzon

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales––At least 16 most wanted persons in Central Luzon were arrested during a 24-hour operation by authorities, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) said Wednesday, Jan. 26.

PRO3 reported that the fugitives were caught Tuesday in Zambales, Bataan, Nueva Ecija, and Bulacan provinces.

Among them was Miguel Felipe, tagged the most wanted person in Zambales, who was facing rape charges.

Also arrested in Zambales were Jimlin Berua Sr., for rape, and Freddie Malapit for illegal drugs.

In Bataan, the arrested fugitives were Larry Celis (rape), Gil Pomar (qualified theft), Abelardo Ferrer (qualified theft), and Wilfredo Ferrer (qualified theft).

The police also caught five most wanted persons in Bulacan. One of them was Manuel Pornelas, most wanted at the regional level for three counts of rape. Also nabbed were Raymar Bermejo (statutory rape), Robinhood Fernandez (robbery), Herwin Tee (illegal drugs), and Raul Coma Jr. (rape).

In Nueva Ecija, arrested were Romel Baltera (illegal drugs), Bryan Castillo (qualified theft), and Ryan Daysa (illegal drugs).
