Pacquiao on looming Duterte exposé vs presidential bets: Let’s just wait for it
MANILA, Philippines — For Senator Manny Pacquiao, it would be better to just wait for the pronouncements of President Rodrigo Duterte, who recently warned of disclosing “what’s wrong” about presidential aspirants in the May elections and naming who among them is the “most corrupt.”
In a media interview, the PROMDI presidential bet was asked for his comment on Duterte’s looming exposé and if he feels he is among those being alluded to by the President during the recent Talk to the People.
“Hindi naman siguro ako kasali doon. Hintayin na lang natin ‘yung announcement ng Pangulo,” Pacquiao replied.
(I don’t think I am included. Let’s wait for the announcement of the President.)
Earlier this week, Duterte said he would disclose the weaknesses of presidential aspirants in this year’s polls as it is his obligation to inform the public about it in order to help them come up with a good decision in May.
