Isabela’s active COVID-19 cases balloon to 2,618

CITY OF CAUAYAN, Isabela––At least 405 new COVID-19 cases were added to the tally of this province, raising its active infections to 2,618 as of Wednesday, Jan. 26, local data showed.

Most of the active cases were in Santiago City, with 578, followed by Cauayan, with 311.

Five new deaths and 313 new recoveries related to the disease were logged in the province.

The province has fully vaccinated at least 900,195 residents out of its over one million population.
