Delivery van rolls over on Ortigas Avenue in Pasig

MANILA, Philippines — A delivery van moving along Ortigas Avenue in Pasig City rolled over, causing heavy traffic along the area on Tuesday night.

Video feeds shared by Pasig News Today showed the delivery van tipped towards the passenger side, on the westbound lane of Ortigas Avenue just before crossing the bridge over the Manggahan floodway.

Firefighters were also on the scene to remove oil spilled from the van’s engine, as it could be a slipping hazard for other vehicles.  As a result, traffic flow was momentarily stopped to avoid other accidents.

According to Pasig News Today, the delivery van was on its way to Pasig’s Barangay Bagong Ilog, from making deliveries in Pilila, Rizal.
