PNP reports 158 more COVID-19 cases
MANILA, Philippines — Active COVID-19 cases among Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel now stand at 2,730 after 158 additional infections were reported on Tuesday.
Figures from the PNP Health service meanwhile showed that 444 more personnel recovered from the disease.

This brought to 44,609 the number of recoveries among PNP personnel.
The PNP did not record any additional deaths due to COVID-19. The death toll among its ranks remains at 126.
Article continues after this advertisementSo far, the PNP has recorded a total of 47,465 confirmed COVID-19 cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
Nationwide, the Philippines logged on Monday an additional 24,938 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the country’s case count to 3,442,056.
