Man stabs brother to death in Rizal province

LUCENA CITY––A man stabbed a sibling to death during a heated argument while in a drinking session Sunday in Angono town in Rizal province, a report said Monday.

The Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) police reported that Jerry Cabiling and his brother Jesus were drinking liquor around 6:20 p.m. in the latter’s house in Barangay San Isidro.

The report said the two suddenly had a heated argument that prompted Jesus to grab a bladed weapon and repeatedly stab Jerry in different parts of the body.

Jerry was taken to the nearest hospital, but he died on the way.

Jesus escaped after the stabbing, but the police arrested him during a follow-up operation.
