Alleged head of drug syndicate shot dead in Quezon province
LUCENA CITY––An alleged leader of a local drug syndicate was shot and killed Sunday in Tiaong town in Quezon province, police said Monday.
Tiaong police reported that a still unidentified gunman repeatedly shot Arnel Saez, 52, while aboard his tricycle around 3:20 p.m. in Barangay Talisay.
The assailant fled on foot after the shooting.

Executive Master Sergeant Sherwin Bonsol, the investigator, said intelligence reports revealed that the victim was an identified leader of a local group of drug pushers operating in Tiaong.
The police are conducting further investigation to unmask the killer.
