COVID-19 hits 169 more cops — PNP

MANILA, Philippines – A total of 169 more police officers have contracted COVID-19, bringing the total of infections in the national police force to 47,334, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said Monday. 

 There are 3,016 are active cases, the PNP said in its daily case update. 

 The PNP also recorded 304 new recoveries, raising the total to 44,192 while the death toll stands at 126,

 

The Philippines has so far logged 3,417,216 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 273,580 active cases, 3,090,164 recoveries and 53,472 deaths.
