MANILA, Philippines — Senator Panfilo Lacson said Monday that at age 73, he is in the pink of health and that it can still handle the task of presidency should he win the presidential elections this year.
“Kayang-kaya, kasi yung huling wellness test ko, sa ating physical test, ‘yung lumabas na body age ko dun is 51 years old, so kayang-kaya,” Lacson said in an interview with DZBB when asked if his health can still handle the demands of being the president of the country.
(My health can still handle it, in my last wellness test, it showed that my body age is only 51 years old.)
Lacson said he does not have any vices either—whether liquor or cigarette.
“Age doesn’t matter if it doesn’t show and if you do not feel it,” Lacson said.
President Rodrigo Duterte’s health has been a recurring issue in his six-year stint as chief executive.
Despite calls for the Palace to release his medical bulletin, the Palace has insisted that Duterte is not sick.
