The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) sacked two officials of the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa City after four inmates managed to bolt out of the national penitentiary.

Sacked were Supt. Arnold Guzman, the superintendent of the NBP maximum security compound, and Senior Insp. Israel Basi, the NBP commander of guards.

Authorities are still hunting down Drakilou Falcon and Chris Ablas, who were among the four prisoners who broke out of the NBP on Jan. 17.

Information about them may be relayed to the BuCor through their hotlines 0918-6001081 and 0917-8046392. —DEXTER CABALZA
