Fugitive in Zambales nabbed after 9 years in hiding

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Police arrested on Thursday a 27-year-old man wanted for rape after nine years in hiding in this province.

Col. Fitz Macariola, provincial police director, identified the suspect as Paul Den Mark Cariño of Barangay San Pablo in Castillejos town.

Cariño was arrested in Botolan town after the police served the warrant issued by Judge Jose Bautista of the Regional Trial Court Branch 73 in Olongapo City, for rape cases, with no recommended bail.

Cariño was held at the custodial facility of the Castillejos Municipal Police Station.
