LUCENA CITY, Philippines – Two alleged notorious drug pushers who are included in the police watch list were arrested before midnight Tuesday, January 18, in Tiaong town in Quezon province, police said Wednesday.
Anti-illegal drugs operatives busted Melanio Panganiban, 46, and Christian Ceniza, 26, after selling P500 worth of shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover policeman in Barangay (village) Lusacan at 11:14 p.m., Colonel Joel Villanueva, Quezon police chief, said in a report.
Five sachets of shabu worth about P18,360 in the street market were seized from the suspects.
Both suspects are in the police list of identified street-level drug pushers in Tiaong.
They are now detained and will be facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
