MANILA, Philippines — The eastern part of Luzon, as well as the entire Mindanao will have overcast skies on Sunday, due the northeast monsoon or “amihan” and a shear line, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
(Expect clouds and light rain in the eastern section of Luzon because of the northeast monsoon.)
(Meanwhile, we expect good weather in the western sections of Luzon, including Palawan and Metro Manila.)
The entire Visayas will likewise experience generally fair and slightly cold weather, said Peñaranda.
Mindanao, meanwhile, will experience cloudy skies due to a shear line, with continuous rain more likely in the area of Zamboanga Peninsula.
