“Dahil po sa hanging amihan itong eastern section ng Luzon meron pong inaasahan na kaulapan at meron pong mahinang mga pagulan,” said Pagasa weather specialist Nikos Peñaranda.

(Expect clouds and light rain in the eastern section of Luzon because of the northeast monsoon.)

(Meanwhile, we expect good weather in the western sections of Luzon, including Palawan and Metro Manila.)

The entire Visayas will likewise experience generally fair and slightly cold weather, said Peñaranda.

Mindanao, meanwhile, will experience cloudy skies due to a shear line, with continuous rain more likely in the area of Zamboanga Peninsula.

Temperature range in key cities/areas according to Pagasa for Sunday:

Metro Manila: 22 to 28 degrees Celsius

Baguio City: 12 to 22 degrees Celsius
