DFA reduces onsite work capacity to 30% in offices under Alert Level 3
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Saturday that it would reduce onsite workforce capacity to 30 percent in its offices under Alert Level 3, amid rising COVID-19 infections in personnel.
The DFA said this in an advisory after noting that 24.7 percent of its staff have tested positive for COVID-19, excluding those who have been identified as close contacts.
“In view of this, the DFA is observing a 30% minimum onsite presence in all its Offices under Alert Level III, while applying work-from-home and other flexible work arrangements,” said the DFA.
“And to ensure uninterrupted delivery of essential public services, no temporary closures will be allowed unless authorized by the Executive Secretary,” it added.
