MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon and the shear line will bring overcast skies and rain on Thursday in parts of Luzon and Mindanao, as well as Eastern Visayas, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
(Tomorrow we will still feel the effects of the northeast monsoon especially in the provinces in the eastern part of Luzon, from here in Batanes to the province of Quezon, expect clouds with scattered rains here.)
(In the rest of Luzon, including Metro Manila, generally fair weather is expected with light rain due to the northeast monsoon.)
Meanwhile, Eastern Visayas as well as the Caraga and Davao region in Mindanao will also experience cloudy skies with widespread rain showers, due to the shear line.
Hot and humid weather, on the other hand, will persist in the rest of Visayas and Mindanao, but short-term isolated rain should still be expected.
