MANILA, Philippines—Police have no leads and were “facing a blank wall” in the killing of a woman Tuesday night in Fairview, Quezon City.

This was the statement Quezon City Police District director Chief Superintendent George Regis made Thursday, adding that they were checking all possible motives in the murder of 39-year-old event organizer Cheryl Agnes Sarmiento.

The QCPD director said that they were “trying to get statements from (Sarmiento’s) immediate family.”

He said that they were checking all possible motives in her murder and that investigators wanted to know whether she had any enemies.

Sarmiento was driving a Toyota Altis car when she was gunned down by several masked suspects at a gasoline station on Commonwealth Avenue corner Regalado St. in Fairview, Quezon City at around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
