MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Monday said that the operations of its Office of Consular Affairs, Consular Offices, and Temporary Off-Site Passport Services sites will be suspended due to the steep rise in COVID-19 cases among their personnel.
The suspension of operations will be from Jan. 10 to Jan. 20. “During the temporary suspension of operations, no passport or Apostille applications will be processed or released,” the DFA said in an advisory.
Operations will resume on Jan. 21.
