DFA announces suspension of operations in several consular offices, TOPS

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) advised the public that operations in its Office of Consular Affairs (OCA), several consular offices (COs) and temporary off-site passport services (TOPS) sites in the country will be suspended amid a “steep rise” in COVID-19 cases among personnel.

In a public advisory on Monday, the DFA said no passport or Apostille applications will be processed or released during the temporary suspension of operations from Jan. 10 to 20.

The public is also advised to direct any inquiries to the consular office where their application was filed.

Below is the list of affected COs and TOPS by the suspended operations from Jan. 10 to 20:

  • CO La Union
  • CO NCR East
  • CO NCR North
  • TOPS Robinsons Novaliches

Meanwhile, operations in the following COs and TOPs will be suspended from Jan. 12 to 20:

  • DFA Office of Consular Affairs in Aseana Business Park, Paranaque City
  • CO NCR Central
  • CO NCR Northeast
  • CO NCR South
  • CO NCR West
  • CO Antipolo
  • CO Angeles
  • CO Baguio
  • CO Dasmarinas
  • CO Iloilo
  • CO Lucena
  • CO Malolos
  • CO San Pablo
  • TOPS Newport Mall
  • TOPS Robinsons Las Pinas
  • TOPS Robinsons San Pedro Laguna
  • TOPS SM Manila
