MANILA, Philippines — Generally fair weather will prevail in most parts of the country on Monday, with  isolated rain showers expected in the Ilocos region, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and Cagayan Valley due to the northeast monsoon or “amihan,” according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

(No gale warning has been raised,  so fishermen and those with small fishing vessels may set sail.)

Pagasa added that no weather disturbance is threatening the country in the next few days.
