weather update

MANILA, Philippines — Generally fair weather will prevail in most parts of the country on Monday, with  isolated rain showers expected in the Ilocos region, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and Cagayan Valley due to the northeast monsoon or “amihan,” according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

(Currently, the northeast monsoon or amihan continues to prevail over northern Luzon wherein we can expect cool weather condition with chances of isolated light rains.)

The rest of the country, including Metro Manila, will have generally fair weather with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

No gale warning is raised over the country’s seaboards.

(No gale warning has been raised,  so fishermen and those with small fishing vessels may set sail.)

Pagasa added that no weather disturbance is threatening the country in the next few days.
