Generally fair weather across PH on Monday – Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — Generally fair weather is expected to prevail throughout the country on Monday, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
However, isolated rains due to the northeast monsoon, locally known as the “amihan” should still be expected in parts of Central Luzon in the morning.
“Samantalang dito sa Metro Manila pati na rin sa nalalabing bahagi ng Luzon, maaliwalas ang panahon bukas na may tiyansa ng thunderstorms pagsapit ng hapon at gabi,” said Pagasa weather specialist Ana Clauren.
(While here in Metro Manila as well as in the rest of Luzon, the weather will be clear tomorrow with a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.)
Generally fair weather is also expected in Visayas and Mindanao, but thunderstorms are more likely in the eastern section of both areas due to the easterlies.
“Wala naman tayong binabantayan ngayon na anumang sama ng panahon o low pressure area na posibleng makaapekto sa ating bansa in the next 3 to 5 days,” said Clauren.
