Watsons short only of some paracetamol brands
MANILA, Philippines — Watsons Philippines said on Wednesday that it was experiencing only a temporary shortage of some brands in some of its stores, but the country has enough supply of paracetamol.
Danilo Chiong, general manager of the drugstore chain, said pharmacists could help customers find substitutes for the brands they were looking for.
The Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Association of the Philippines said in a statement on Tuesday that the shortage was temporary while Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez assured the public that new deliveries would start coming this week.
