Man nabbed in Oriental Mindoro buy-bust

CITY OF CALAPAN—Police arrested on Wednesday a man in a buy-bust operation in Victoria town in Oriental Mindoro province, a report said.

Denmark Diomampo, 30, a priority high-value individual, was arrested about 2:30 p.m. by combined personnel from the Philippine Drugs Enforcement Agency Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) and local police.

Diomampo was arrested after selling a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) to a poseur buyer in exchange for P500 in Sitio (sub-village) Old Market, Barangay Poblacion 1.

The suspect, a resident of Barangay Pinagsabangan 2 in Naujan town, is under police custody. He faces charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
