MANILA, Philippines — The Makati City government is now allowing walk-ins for nonresidents who want to get a booster shot against COVID-19, Mayor Abby Binay said on Tuesday.
Binay said the local government is now open to all vaccinees, who already had their full dose from other cities and municipalities, to get their booster shots in Makati.
Those who are interested may register on the local government’s website or even fill up a form on the site of the vaccination center.
“You just have to register in the portal since we don’t have your record. So you register online first, and then after that you can walk in. Or if you did not register online, you will have to register on site,” Binay said over ABS-CBN News Channel.
Binay, however, urged those interested to register online for convenience.
“We even have a capacity tracker so you know which vax site has less people and what vax sites you should avoid. We do have that feature in our Facebook page,” Binay noted.
To date, Makati reported 45,464 cases of COVID-19, including 257 active cases, 44,218 recoveries and 989 deaths, according to the local government.
