6 new COVID-19 cases logged in Cagayan
TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines — Six new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Cagayan province on Tuesday, (Dec. 28), local data showed.
Four new cases came from Tuguegarao City, which now has seven active infections, while the two other fresh cases were registered in the towns of Peñablanca and Baggao, said Dr. Carlos Cortina, Cagayan provincial health officer.
Data also showed that a COVID-19-related death was added to the tally of Solana town.
As of Tuesday, Cagayan has 23 active cases left while 16 of its localities had already been virus-free. INQ
