Anyone for year-end dip at the Manila Baywalk Dolomite Beach?

The government has decided to reopen for two days the Manila Baywalk Dolomite Beach, but visitors will be required to register in a bid to prevent overcrowding.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) on Tuesday reopened the 140-meter beach, more than a month after it was ordered closed after an influx of more than 100,000 visitors in October.

On Dec. 28 and Dec. 29, the beach will be reopened but will be closed again after.

FEATURED STORIES

On Jan. 4, 2022, onward, it will again be open to the public.

Visitors are required to register before their visit by scanning a QR code posted at the DENR’s official Facebook page and other social media accounts.
