MANILA, Philippines — A total of 47,860,944 individuals in the country have so far been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, Malacañang said Tuesday.
This number accounts for 62.05% of the country’s target population for vaccination, Cabinet Secretary and acting presidential spokesperson Karlo Nograles said.
Meanwhile, 60,811,273 individuals or 78.83% of the target population have received the first dose of the vaccine.
Nograles said the Philippines has already received over 202 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines as of Dec. 27 and more than 106 million doses have already been administered.
He said vaccine supply is enough to vaccinate 100 million Filipinos.
“Sapat na ang ating supply para mabakunahan ang at least 100 million na Pilipino sa buong bansa. Pwede na tayong magbigay pati booster shots,” he said in a Palace briefing.
