Vico Sotto amuses netizens with funny holiday socmed posts

MANILA, Philippines — Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto once again amused netizens with his quirky quips in his holiday greeting posted on social media.

Sotto posted on Instagram a photo of him with his family as they celebrated Christmas.

His post only had a one-word caption: “Yan,” which amused netizens, prompting them to leave their comments on his post.

The city mayor then took the time to reply —hilariously —  to some of the comments.

A netizen commented, “anong kwento?” to which Sotto replied, “bali sumapit ang pasko tapos nagkainan po kami tapos kumuha ng litrato.”

(What’s the story?) (Christmas came and we ate together and then we took a picture.)

Another netizen commented: “Si Xander Ford po ba iyon?” and Sotto replied, “Yung naka orange?? Baliw ako yan!”

One netizen greeted the Pasig City mayor “Merry Christmas” and expressed surprise when Sotto replied.

The netizen said “waaa na noticeee akooo,” then Sotto replied “ay sorry na wrong send lang po.”

As of posting, there were over 3,500 comments on Sotto’s post on Instagram.

One netizen posted screenshots of the exchanges on Facebook, which has so far garnered 56,400 reactions, 1,800 comments, and 39,000 shares.
