Former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary and senatorial candidate Mark A. Villar joined vice presidential aspirant Mayor Inday Sara Duterte on Wednesday morning in inaugurating the Inday Sara Duterte Ako (ISDA) national headquarters in Quezon Avenue, Quezon City.
The said event happened a day after Duterte formally endorsed Villar as part of her senatorial slate in the upcoming 2022 national elections.
“Malaking karangalan po ang ma-endorso ni Mayor Sara. We are very much aligned in our objectives to continue serving the country”, Villar said.
Villar headed the Build Build Build Program of the current administration wherein he led DPWH in constructing 29,264 km of roads, 5,950 bridges, 739 COVID-19 facilities with 27,302 bed capacity while at the same time providing 6.5 million jobs to the Filipino people.
“Ako ay lubos na nagpapasalamat kay Mayor Inday Sara sa kanyang tiwala at suporta sa aking kandidatura. Asahan po ng ating mga kababayan na patuloy kaming magtutulungan para sa bayan”, Villar added.
The two were also joined by MMDA Chairperson Benhur Abalas and senatorial candidate former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista.
