6 family members nabbed in Camarines Sur sting
LEGAZPI CITY––Police rounded up on Tuesday morning six family members tagged as notorious illegal drug pushers in a drug operation in Pasacao town in Camarines Sur province.
Armed with a search warrant issued by a local court in this city, the police arrested Jilly Raynera, 74, his wife Salud, 73, and their sons Noe, 48, Valentin, 45, Nelson, and Angel Jr., according to Bicol police spokesperson Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib.
She said that except for Valentin, tagged by the police as a high-value target, all the family members were street-level pushers.
The search was conducted at 5:56 a.m. at the suspect’s residence in Barangay (village) Sta. Rosa Del Sur.
Seized from the suspects were nine sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth).
The suspects were detained at the town police custodial facility as charges for possession and selling of illegal drugs under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 are readied against them.
