TAGBILARAN CITY––A man was found dead Sunday, a day after he was swept away by rampaging floodwaters in Barangay Dorol, Balilihan town, Bohol.
Alejandro Ocay, 68, was found at the Abatan River in Barangay Loreto, Cortes town, at least four kilometers from his home.
Chief Master Sergeant Ralph Renoblas, investigator of the Balilihan Police Station, said the family of Ocay went to the police station on Sunday after the victim went missing.
Ocay was last seen tending to his carabao on Sunday afternoon.
Barangay officials conducted a search-and-rescue operation until they found Ocay’s body on Monday.
