OLONGAPO CITY––For two consecutive weeks, no police personnel in the region contracted COVID-19, keeping the workforce of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) virus-free, local data showed on Monday, Dec. 13.

The health service office of PRO3 said it recorded zero new COVID-19 cases from Nov. 29 to Dec. 13.

As of Monday, the PRO3’s COVID-19 cases still stood at 2,940 with 2,933 recoveries. Its death toll remained at seven, with no new fatalities in recent weeks.

The improved COVID-19 situation among the Central Luzon police was linked to its high vaccination rate of 99.67 percent out of its 15,884 members.

Only 51 members of its workforce were unvaccinated due to various reasons.
