3 drug suspects nabbed; over P55K shabu seized in Bicol buy-busts

LEGAZPI CITY––Police arrested three suspected drug pushers and seized P55,500 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations Sunday in the Bicol region.

In Camarines Sur, Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said Dominador Inocalla, 46, was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 8:45 p.m. in Barangay Sta. Cruz.

Inocalla sold a sachet of shabu worth P14,500 to an undercover agent, Bongon added.

During the body search, the police recovered a caliber .38 gun loaded with three live bullets.

In Calabanga town, Sonia Sta. Ana, 36, was also arrested in a separate operation around 6:45 p.m. in Barangay Sabang.

Confiscated during the operation were five sachets of shabu worth P1,000.

Inocalla and Sta. Ana are on the illegal drugs watch list in the region.

Colonel Julius Guadamor, Camarines Norte police chief, said Jerome Asis, 26, was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 2:30 p.m. in a hotel in Barangay Camambugan in Daet town.

The police recovered 13 sachets or five grams of shabu worth P40,000.

The suspects face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
