Comelec allowed to hold mock polls on Dec. 29

The government’s pandemic task force has allowed the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to hold nationwide mock election exercises on Dec. 29 in preparation for next year’s polls.

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has no objection to the Comelec’s plan, according to acting presidential spokesperson Karlo Nograles. —Leila B. Salaverria
