MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has rescheduled to December 14, from the original date of December 10, the raffle of party-list groups to determine the order of their listing in the official ballot for the 2022 elections.

“In order for the party-list groups, organizations, and coalitions with pending incidents to have the opportunity to secure a status quo ante order from the Supreme Court, the conduct of party-list raffle to determine the order of their listing on the official ballot for purposes of the 2022 national and local elections has been rescheduled,” the Comelec said in an advisory on Thursday.

The raffle will be conducted at 10 a.m. on December 14 at the poll body’s Session Hall at the Palacio del Gobernador Building in Intramuros, Manila and simultaneously via Microsoft Teams.

In a resolution on December 1, the Comelec earlier announced the names of 165 approved party-list groups and 13 others with pending appeals that may participate in the raffle.

The poll body also clarified that the inclusion of the 13 groups was no guarantee that they would be allowed to join the 2022 elections.
