MANILA, Philippines — Around 15 students from Grades 11 and 12 attended their first day of face-to-face classes at Sen. Renato “Compañero” Cayetano Memorial Science & Technology High School in Taguig City.

According to the city’s public information office, the students were chosen for the pilot program after getting consent from their parents and the Taguig City government.

Taguig PIO said that all its teachers and non-teaching personnel are all vaccinated, “giving the city the confidence in operating the in-person learning program.”

“The local government explicitly follows all the precautions to successfully transition to the new normal such as students attending their face-to-face classes,” Taguig’s local government said.
