BAGUIO CITY—Presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo was welcomed Monday, Dec. 6, by her supporters at the University of the Cordilleras (UC) during her two-day visit here.

Addressing the crowd and UC officials, Robredo shared how she values the growing support around the country.

“Pink is a symbol of radicalism and of accepting that there is something wrong and [having] the resolve to do something,” the Vice President said.

“Baguhin na natin ang pwede natin mabago ngayon…(Let us change what we can change now) Let us do our part in making this country a better place for our children,” she added.

Robredo also shared how, with little resources, her office reached out to more Filipinos who needed help amid the pandemic, citing her
“Bayanihan E-Konsulta” as the “biggest” project she organized at the height of the health crisis.

“This is what public service is all about. You will not be able to render the service the public deserves if your office is not well-managed,” she said.

Robredo will attend the wedding of lawyer Paolo Salvosa, a member of the clan that founded the UC.

She will also have an audience with the Good Shepherd Convent and grace the blessing of the Leni-Kiko headquarter in the city.
