Another Zambales town now free of COVID-19

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—The two remaining active COVID-19 patients in San Marcelino town in this province have recovered from the viral disease, making it free of COVID-19, local data showed on Thursday, Dec. 2.

According to the San Marcelino municipal health office, the 18 villages of the town did not also record any new COVID-19 cases on the same day.

Since last year, the town has recorded 629 confirmed COVID-19 cases but at least 665 of these had already been cleared of the disease. Its death toll stood at 36.

Aside from San Marcelino, the towns of San Felipe and Cabagang are the other local governments in Zambales without an active COVID-19 case.
