MANILA, Philippines — Most parts of the country will have generally fair weather on Sunday, except for some parts of the Cagayan Valley, and Palawan which will have scattered rains and cloudy skies, the state weather service said.
Pagasa weather specialist Raymond Ordinario said that while most parts of Luzon including Metro Manila will experience fair weather conditions, Cagayan Valley and Palawan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains caused by a shear line and the Intertropical Convergence Zone, respectively. Northern Luzon will also experience light rains due to the northeast monsoon or the “amihan.”
“Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon ay magkakaroon ng fair weather condition o maaliwalas na panahon, maliban sa mga isolated light rains diyan sa Ilocos region, Cordillera, at Central Luzon. Patuloy pa din ang maulap na papawirin na may kalat-kalat na pag-ulan pagkidlat pagkulog diyan sa Cagayan Valley dahil sa shear line at sa Palawan area, dahil naman sa Intertropical Convergence Zone,” Ordinario said in a public weather forecast.
