THE AIRASIA Philippine Patriots aim to keep their winning run going as they gun for a sixth straight win when they take on the Bangkok Cobras today in the AirAsia Asean Basketball League at the Ynares Sports Center in Pasig City.
The Patriots have had their mettle tested in two close wins on the road which included an 81-72 drubbing of the reigning champions Thailand Slammers last week on the latter’s home floor in Bangkok.
The Patriots are hoping to gain even more momentum heading to their much-anticipated rematch with the country’s other team in the ABL, the San Miguel Beermen, next weekend.

Reyes immediately made an impact for the team as keyed the team’s 76-61 victory over the winless Saigon Heat last week. He scattered 13 points in 27 minutes as he alternated with Marvin Cruz in playing the point. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
