Cops nab OFW in Batangas City drug buy-bust

LUCENA CITY––Police arrested a woman described as an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) in a drug buy-bust operation Monday in Batangas City, a report said Tuesday.

Batangas City police reported that anti-illegal drugs operatives collared at 5:15 p.m. Lovelydee Faltado, 35, after selling P1,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) to a police agent acting as a drug user in Barangay Balete.

Authorities seized four sachets of shabu from the suspect who resides in the city.

The report did not specify the volume and street value of the confiscated illegal drugs.

The suspect was detained at the police station jail and will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
