MANILA, Philippines — Residents of Metro Manila and the entire Visayas and Mindanao are expected to see cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms on Saturday, according to the state weather bureau.
“Sa Metro Manila, nalalabing bahagi ng Luzon…[at] sa buong bahagi ng Visayas at Mindanao, asahan din po natin na magiging bahagyang maulap hanggang maulap ‘yung kalangitan at ‘yung mga tsansa ng pulo pulong pag-ulan, pagkulob at pagkidlat dulot po iyan ng localized thunderstorms,” Grace Castaneda, a weather specialist from Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in a 4 a.m. advisory.
(In Metro Manila, several parts of Luzon…and the entire area of Visayas and Mindanao, we can expect there to be partly cloudy to cloudy skies, and there is a chance of isolated rain showers and lightning caused by localized thunderstorms.)
Meanwhile, the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley and in Central Luzon stand to experience generally fair weather on Saturday — with a chance of partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains — despite the presence of the northeast monsoon or amihan.

Laoag- 24 to 33 degrees Celsius
Tuguegarao- 23 to 32 degrees Celsius
Baguio- 16 to 25 degrees Celsius
Metro Manila- 24 to 32 degrees Celsius
Tagaytay- 21 to 31 degrees Celsius
Kalayaan Islands- 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
Legaspi- 24 to 32 degrees Celsius
Puerto Princesa City- 24 to 31 degrees Celsius
Iloilo- 26 to 31 degrees Celsius
Cebu and Tacloban- 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
Cagayan de Oro- 25 to 31 degrees Celsius
Davao- 26 to 33 degrees Celsius
Zamboanga- 24 to 33 degrees Celsius
Pagasa said there was no gale warning raised, which means that fishermen and those with small vessels can operate on waters.
