Over 600,000 Pfizer vaccine doses arrive in PH

MANILA, Philippines — Another 609,570 doses of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine were delivered to the Philippines on Friday night.

The additional Pfizer vaccines came after the arrival of 1,306,000 Moderna vaccine doses, 2,805,000 Sputnik V shots, and 5,000 doses of the Sputnik Light vaccine also on Friday.

Latest data presented by acting presidential spokesperson Karlo Nograles in his press briefing showed that a total of 73.9 million COVID-19 vaccines have so far been administered, including 40 million provided as first doses.

Meanwhile, 32.9 million Filipinos are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
